Story

My exams had just ended and I was excited for my upcoming vacation. As usual, my mother was keen for me to help her clean the house, and I was happy to oblige her. One morning, while I was out running errands, I came back to see her cleaning my room. It was too late – she had already discovered the box I’d stashed away, which held the pride flag and old newspaper cuttings of some of my favourite actors. “Where are the women, I wonder,” she said plainly. I braced myself for a barrage of insults, even starting to mumble and apology for ruining her Diwali.

“Are you gay?” she asked. I was lost for words but my face said it all.

“I will always love you. Go forth and follow the rainbow,” she said, with a smile. My eyes teared up as she wrapped me in her loving arms.

Description 

Viscose modal is a blend of two semi-synthetic fabrics, namely viscose and modal. Viscose is a type of rayon, which is also known as artificial silk. It mainly comprises regenerated cellulose that comes from wood pulp and other agricultural sources. Modal is derived from the pulp of beech tree. A combination of both these fabrics ensures that the resultant fabric is soft, breathable, lightweight, durable, and has excellent colour retention, absorbent and elasticity.
